THE FALKLANDS CHALLENGE

Join The Veterans Charity on Saturday 13th June 2026 for The Falklands Challenge, a 10-mile 'Yomp' from Instow Beach to RMB Chivenor, to honour those who served in The Falklands War in 1982.

Open to all ages! (under 16s must be accompanied by an adult).

Every participant (including virtual entrants) gets a special bespoke medal to cherish and through their entry fee and fundraising, will also be supporting the vital work of The Veterans Charity.

Whilst fundraising is not compulsory for participants of The Falklands Challenge, we are experiencing extremely high demand for our support so every pound matters. To encourage people to fundraise as part of the challenge, everyone who raises £75 or more for The Veterans Charity as part of The Falklands Challenge will get a fabulous Goody Bag containing one of our fantastic VC T-Shirts, a wristband, Pen, Lapel Pin and Lanyard!

When you register for your places, you will be given the option to create a fundraising page for the event. We hope you will consider doing so and help us to continue being there for Veterans experiencing hardship!

On event support:

  • Check-in tent at start point

  • Pre-event safety briefing and warm-up with Roberto Zumba!

  • Medical crew

  • Stocked (water and sweets!) and manned checkpoints

  • Marshalls and route signage

  • Bespoke Medal

  • Refreshments at the finish

  • Service of Remembrance at RMB Chivenor's Memorial Garden after the event
