Far too many Veterans and their loved ones are facing dire hardship—struggling to put food on the table, keep their homes warm, and make Christmas a reality for their children. For them, the festive season often feels like a painful reminder of what they’ve lost, rather than a time of celebration.
Through our Christmas Support Packages, filled with food, festive treats, and essential supplies, we deliver not just practical relief but also something priceless: dignity, warmth, and the knowledge that they are not forgotten. Each package is more than a box — it is a symbol of compassion, solidarity, and gratitude for their service.
The impact is profound. Families who felt overwhelmed with despair are instead able to gather around a warm meal. Children who thought Santa might pass them by wake up to gifts and laughter. Veterans who carry heavy burdens of hardship feel uplifted by the kindness of strangers who chose to be their heroes.

Get together with friends, family or colleagues or ask your customers to help your business to become a sponsor and support The Veterans Charity to deliver special Christmas packages to those facing dire hardship.
Each package costs around £250 and provides a huge 2-week family food shop as well as everything needed for a fabulous festive meal AND a special Christmas gift hamper packed with treats and gifts for the family.

Every year, The Veterans Charity delivers special Christmas packages to Veterans and their families who otherwise would not be celebrating due to hardship.
Each package comprises of a huge 2-week family food shopping delivery including everything for a fabulous festive meal with treats, crackers, meat and all the trimmings, puddings, sauces, cheeses and nibbles.
In addition to the huge food shopping delivery, we also provide a fantastic gift hamper packed with festive treats, toys, crafts, puzzles, greetings cards, wrapping, tags and tape and also pre-paid gift cards to enable parents to choose something for a loved one from themselves.
This year has been very difficult for everyone but it has been especially challenging for those we have supported and sadly, many will still be struggling to make ends meet at Christmas.
We have supported dozens of Veterans who face the awful reality of having to tell their families that Santa won't be visiting their home this year - we want to make sure that this isn't a reality!
