We recently received a request for help from 'J', a former Royal Welsh Fusilier who has been struggling for several years to make ends meet but is determined to improve his life by setting up his own window cleaning business. However, in order to start, he needed some basic but essential kit.

When faced with hardship and the constant struggle of trying to survive on minimum benefits, pension or a low income, the prospect of starting your own business or a new career path is not an easy one.

The former Royal Welsh Fusilier, who served from 1997 until being medically discharged in 2001, has done a great deal of research into the kit needed and how to get started. He has even sourced his first clients!

He had asked for help from The Veterans Charity to provide the basic kit including bucket, scrapers, blades, cloths and extending pole etc so that he can begin his new venture and start making a better life for himself and his elderly mother who he lives with and cares for.

We were only too pleased to assist and placed an imeediate order with a professional window cleaning supplies company. The goods were delivered the very next day!

We would like to wish 'J' the very best of luck and success with his new business.
