A long-term Volunteer of The Veterans Charity has run a staggering TEN half-marathons in just TEN days to mark the charity's tenth birthday and to help raise vital funds to support it's work.

Rob Starbuck, who has been involved with the charity since 2008, set out on 2nd March on his first half-marathon, and despite the freezing temperatures, completed the distance in good time.

He has since completed a half-marathon each day finishing his challenge with the Woking Half-Marathon in his hometown, yesterday.

Rob, who has been a very keen runner since he was a teenager, has also completed the London Marathon EIGHT times and has also completed The Forces March, the charity's gruelling 5-marathons-in-5-days challenge, a staggering NINE times including running the route in ONE GO!

Rob said "Each day I have never put myself up against the clock, my main aim was to get the miles done.....This challenge has never been about me, it is all about the cause and raising vital funds for The Veterans Charity with no red tape!"

Rob has a fundraising page and is hopign to raise a fabulous sum for his amazing efforts. You can donate to Rob's page here
