Armed Forces Day 2022 - a 1940's celebration

On Sunday 26th June, we hosted a wonderful 1940's themed celebration for Armed Forces Day 2022.

With amazing help from many fabulous suppliers and exhibitors, we filled Barnstaple's historic Pannier Market building with music and fun!

We want to thank the hundreds of people who attended and help to celebrate our Armed Forces Community and an especially big thank you to the following who helped to make the day so special:

  • Will, Nigel, Pip and Peter who brought their stunning vehicles to show

  • Michael and Sarah who brought an incredible range of vintage handcycles which were greatly enjoyed by kids and adults

  • 1146 (Barnstaple) Sqn Air Training Corps who were an amazing help in setting up as well as hosting an incredible range of displays including their astounding new flight simulator

  • Sean Floyd aka 'His Nibs' with his stunning array of hand-crafted pens
