More support where it's needed, WHEN it's needed.

This is Carl.

Carl served his country for 9 years including tours in Iraq. He left in 2008 and has been diagnosed with PTSD. He has since spent time sleeping on the streets and thankfully is now getting counselling and is attending a vocational college.

Carl has just moved into a flat of his own but has nothing to fill it with, literally nothing, but a mattress, his clothes and a few bits of kitchenware that he had to borrow from his mum.

Thanks to your donations we were able to visit Carl on Saturday and provide him with a full set of kitchen equipment including a microwave, pots, pans, dishes, utensils and cutlery as well as a vacuum cleaner, some new towels, a new bed and a TV/DVD!

We are also hoping to be able to sort out some curtains and carpeting so that Carl will be able to have his son to stay in the school holidays!

We love what we do and we are very proud to be able to do it. All those who have supported VC, give yourselves a huge pat on the back because without your help, we couldn’t do it!
