STAR WARS FANCY DRESS FUN RUNS

2012 is the 35th anniversary of one of the biggest films in history - STAR WARS!

Many parts of some of the 6 films in the Star Wars series were filmed at locations around Watford and to celebrate this milestone we have organised a great fun eveing for everyone to dress up and join in to help raise money for The Veterans Charity.

 Registration opens at 17:00. (Please enter ONLINE as this will save a lot of time!)

18:00 - 2km wheelchair/handcycle race - Entry £3

18:30 - 1km kiddies fun run - Entry £1 (Please ask your children to get sponsored too. Sponsorship forms available online)

19:15 - 5k fancy dress run - Entry £10

ALL proceeds go to the charity which provides fast, direct, practical support to Veterans of all generations.

This promises to be a fun-packed evening and we want HUNDREDS of people to come along to celebrate the anniversary of Star Wars and run/walk for Veterans. There will be a prize giving presentation at 20:30 for winners and best dressed and medals for everyone!

Woodside Stadium is a great location with a fully floodlit 8 lane track, toilets and first aid facilities as well as car parking, public transport access and clubhouse facilities too.
